To make sure your rollout goes as smoothly as possible, we recommend giving your community a heads up in advance. Below are templates you can use to email school leaders, teachers, and parents—just choose the templates you need and customize the details for your district or school.

For school leaders (District Plan; SIS/CSV)

Subject: Rolling out Remind to [DISTRICT NAME]

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you know that [DISTRICT NAME] is implementing Remind district-wide. As part of this rollout, official accounts have been created for all the educators, students, and parents in your school community.

If you're not already familiar with Remind, it's a classroom messaging app that helps teachers engage students and parents every day. As an administrator, you'll be able to manage your school community with advanced controls and analytics, while your teachers will have access to expanded communication features.

To access your school on Remind, please go to Remind.com and log in with your school email address. If you don't know your password, select Forgot password.

[NAME OF TRAINER] will set up a time to walk you through Remind, and training for your school's staff will also be provided. For a quick look at what else you'll have access to as an administrator, just check out this guide here.

Follow the steps in the email to set up your account on Remind. If you already have an account, you'll be prompted to merge it so you can keep all of your information.

We'll also be holding a training session for Remind on [DATE]. We'll be walking you through how to use Remind, so please make sure you've set up your account by then.
