Follow the instructions below to create a free Remind chat account on your Android device.

Administrator
Reach out to our Support team if you're interested in obtaining Remind Hub and admin access to your organization.
- Download the Remind app.
- Enter your phone number or email address → Tap Next.
- Enter the four-digit verification code we sent to your device or email.
- Create a password for your account → Tap Next.
- Agree to the User agreement.
- Select I'm an administrator → Enter your name → Tap Next.
- Choose I work for a school or I work for a district → Tap Next.
- Search for your school or district → Select your administrative role → Tap Next → Tap Yes to confirm that your email address is your correct school email.
- Tap Get started → Scroll down and tap Set your office hours → Tap Save.
- Tap Skip if you're not ready to set office hours or notifications yet, and access your new class.
- Tap Set notifications → Tap Got it → Tap Skip on the top right → Start sending messages.
Teacher
- Download the Remind app.
- Enter your phone number or email address → Tap Next.
- If you sign up using your cell phone number, you'll be prompted later to add your email address to your account.
- Enter the four-digit verification code we sent to your device or email.
- Create a password for your account → Tap Next.
- Agree to the User agreement.
- Select I'm a teacher → Enter your name → Tap Next.
- Type the name of your first class → Tap Done → Search for the name of the school your class should be connected to or tap Skip for now.
- If your administrator has class approvals turned on, you'll see a Request approval screen. Enter a reason for your class → Tap Send. You'll receive a notification when the administrator approves or denies your request.
- Tap Get started → Tap Set your office hours → Tap Save → Start sending messages.
- Tap Skip if you're not ready to set office hours yet, and access your new class.
Parent
- Download the Remind app.
- Enter your phone number or email address → Tap Next.
- Enter the four-digit verification code we sent to your device or email.
- Create a password for your account → Tap Next.
- Agree to the User agreement.
- Select I'm a parent → Enter your name → Tap Next.
- Enter your child's teacher's class code or search for their teacher's class → Tap Join.
- Tap Get started → Tap Set notifications → Tap Invite and Message to start reaching your child's teacher immediately.
- Tap Skip if you're not ready to set notification preferences yet, and access your class.
Student
- Download the Remind app.
- Enter your phone number or email address → Tap Next.
- Enter the four-digit verification code we sent to your device or email.
- Create a password for your account → Tap Next.
- Agree to the User agreement.
- Select I'm a student → Enter your name → Tap Next.
- Add your birthdate → Tap Next → Enter your parent's information if you're under 13 → Enter your teacher's class code → Tap Join (or search for their class). You can only join a class that is owned by a teacher.
- If you're a student that is 13 or older, you'll also see the option to create a class.
- Tap Get started → Tap Set notifications → Tap Invite and Message to start reaching your teacher or classmates immediately. Tap Skip if you're not ready to set notification preferences yet, and access your class.
