How do I access the student account my school created for me?

For students at organizations with Remind Hub.

When your school upgrades to Remind Hub, the school has the option to create accounts for students. If your administrator decides to do this, you'll receive an email from Remind with a login link that will enable you to access your account.

Once you log in, you'll automatically see all of your Remind classes. You'll instantly be able to receive messages and stay informed about what is happening in your classes and school. Follow the steps below to access your rostered Remind account, and start taking advantage of your new communication tool!

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Check your school email and open the message from Remind. Which email do you see? 

Process A's Email

If you see the email above, follow the steps for Process A below. You can click here to jump to that section. 

Process B's Email

If you do not see a login email in your inbox, check your junk or spam folder. If you still do not see it, reach out to your teacher or school administrator and make sure you have the correct email address.


 

Process A - Access your Remind account

Open the email you received and click Join your new classes.mceclip1.png

If you have used Remind before, select Yes, I have. If you have not, skip to Step 3.

  • Enter your existing username and password.

  • Remind will merge your existing Remind account with the one the school created. You'll still be able to access all of your pre-existing classes and contacts in your account.                                                                  mceclip1.png

If you do not have a Remind account yet, select No, I am new to Remind. You'll automatically get redirected to your Remind dashboard.

  • You can immediately view the classes your school added you to under Classes Joined.

  • Once your school administrator and/or teachers start sending Remind announcements, you'll receive them via the email and/or phone number that is linked to your account.

  • Also, if your teachers have enabled two-way messages, you'll be able to reply to their messages.

We highly recommend you download the Remind app as it is an easy way to receive and send messages.

Process B - Claim your account

Click Claim your account in the email received.

Select Accept on the User agreement pop-up.

Create a password that is at least six characters long and click Save.

Check your email for a 4-digit confirmation code from Remind. Enter the confirmation code on your Remind screen to verify your account, and click Submit.

Optional

Enter your phone number to connect it to your Remind account. Click Send code and check your phone for the code. Then enter the code on the screen to confirm your phone number.  You can click Skip this step if you do not want to receive Remind messages via text.

  • Now you're logged in to your Remind account! You'll see your new classes under Classes Joined on the left navigation menu. 

  • Any time one of your teachers or administrators sends a district, school, or class announcement, you'll see a red notification on your dashboard. Simply click on it to get taken to the Messages tab to read the announcement. 

  • If a teacher or an administrator has enabled two-way messages, you'll be able to send them a response.
