For all class owners.
Stay connected and keep the people in your class informed by sending them announcements, such as assignment reminders, field trip updates, upcoming deadlines, and updates that pertain to people in your class. You can send class announcements for classes in which you are the owner or a co-owner.

Send a class announcement
Web
- Log in to your Remind account.
- Click New Message on the left navigation bar.

You can also create an announcement by clicking the New Announcement button on the bottom of your class Messages dashboard. Skip to step 6 if you choose this path.

- Select Message or Urgent Message.

Note - You'll only see Urgent message as an option if your organization has the feature.

- Click the box of the Class you want to receive the announcement. You can select multiple classes.
- Click Continue.
- Compose your announcement. You also have the option to schedule the announcement to be sent at a later date and time.
- Click Send. Return to top
iOS app
- Open the Remind app.
- Tap New Message on the navigation bar or tap the compose icon in the lower right corner of the main screen.
- Tap Announcement.
- Select the class you want to send your announcement under Classes.
- Type your announcement and tap Send.
- You can tap to schedule your message and send it at a later time.
Android
- Open the Remind app.
- Tap New Message on the navigation bar or tap the compose icon in the lower right corner of the screen.
- Tap Announcement.
- Scroll down to Classes and tap the classes you want to receive your announcement.
- Type your announcement and tap Send.
- You can tap to schedule your message and send it at a later time.
