Before you begin
We only support Instagram Business accounts that are connected to a Facebook page. Follow the steps listed here to link your Instagram Business account to your organization's Facebook page.
Be sure to log out of your personal FaceBook, Instagram, and Twitter account, and log in to your organization's social media account(s).
Any links shared on social media will expire after 90 days in accordance with Remind’s security practices.
Announcements over 280 characters will be posted in multiple threaded tweets on Twitter.
We recommend reviewing Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter's post rules as well as Ayrshare's image and video guidelines. Reviewing them now will prevent you from having to spend time fixing minor errors later.
Make your posts accessible to all community members by adding alt text to your images on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Use Ayrshare's troubleshooting guide if you have difficulty linking your social media accounts to Remind.

Message summary
When you cross-post an image to Instagram, you may get an error message (as shown in the image below). The aspect ratio of images must be 0.8 to 1.91. If necessary, you can use this site to change the aspect ratio of an image.
File sharing
You'll see a red warning icon next to Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram when a social platform does not support a file you've attached to your announcement. We'll post your announcement on the social media network with a link that redirects message recipients to Remind so they can see the announcement as well as the attached file.

Notes on our partnership with Ayrshare
In order to provide Remind's cross-posting feature, we partnered with Ayrshare, a secure third-party provider. Ayrhsare uses a secure JWT Authentication Token process for single sign-on. All social networks have reviewed Ayrshare's process as well as given the company permission for API access. Neither Remind nor Ayrshare sees or stores a user's credentials. However, Remind gets an Ayrshare API key, called a profile key, for every one of our users - which we send with each API call. The profile key is the only thing we need to store. Ayrshare also stores a history of the posts sent via Ayrshare, which is public data since it also lives on social networks. Additionally, Ayrshare stores data in the US - the company uses Google Cloud as its cloud vendor.
Every post sent through Ayrshare undergoes a verification check to minimize the risk of being rejected by social networks. This helps keep your social account in good standing with them. Ayrshare analyzes your posts for compliance with the social networks' guidelines. Most social networks have rules around what content is allowed to be posted and how frequently posts can be made.
Please check the Ayrshare information about Post verification to learn about duplicate posts, limits to repeat mentions, and posting limits. If you see an error in a Message summary, like the one below, you have exceeded one of these limits.
