I can't reset my password

If you are having trouble resetting your password, here are the usual reasons why, and actions you can take.

1. The password reset link is invalid or expired

The link was sent more than 1 hour ago, so it's no longer valid for security reasons. Click on "Forgot Password?" again to get a new link.

You'll receive an email from us within 10 minutes with a link that says "Reset password instructions" from no-reply@mail.remind.com.

2. Bad Request error

If you see a Bad Request error, it typically means your email inbox or browser is having trouble understanding our link. Try copying and pasting the link into a different browser!

Ctrl+clicking the link lets you copy the link, so you can paste it somewhere else.

3. I didn't receive an email

If you clicked "Forgot Password?" but didn't receive an email, there are a few things to try:

  1. If you have a mobile phone number connected to your Remind account, log in using your phone number and password. Confirmation will be sent to your phone.
  2. Are you in the email inbox for the email account you used when signing up for Remind? Make sure it's the same email address you use to log in.
  3. Search your inbox for mail from no-reply@mail.remind.com and the subject: Reset password instructions.
  4. Copy this link to the Forgot Password? page and open in a new browser.
  5. Have you received other emails from us (@mail.remind.com or support@remindhq.com)? The email carrier may be blocking our emails. You can try whitelisting the email address. Here's how.
  6. If your email is managed by someone else (i.e. school or district email addresses), work with your IT team to make sure emails from @mail.remind.com are not being blocked. Provide them with our email configuration guide.

If none of these tips work, please email our Support team. We'll either provide a password reset link or temporarily reset your password so you can log in.

Note: Always create a strong, unique password that does not include personal information or sequential numbers or letters and is at least 8 characters long. Doing this will make it harder for someone to guess your password and access your account. Also, do not use the same password for Remind as you use for other sites, to prevent your Remind account from being compromised if your credentials are compromised at another company.
