For administrators with Remind Hub using Direct add, CSV format 1.0 or 2.0, OneRoster, Sync API Connection, ClassLink API, or Clever.
Rostering is an effective way to create accounts and/or classes for your organization. Please review this article to determine which rostering method is best for your organization. We also recommend notifying your teachers you’ll be creating accounts and classes for them before you begin rostering.
Choose a rostering method
-
Direct add - Create Remind accounts and classes for people in your organization without SIS syncing. You can add contact information to Remind for up to 150 people at a time. This method is best for smaller organizations.
The following options are only available for Remind Hub accounts that have purchased rostering.
- CSV sync - Transfer data from your SIS to Remind via SFTP. This method will accept CSV files formatted with Remind 1.0, Remind 2.0, or OneRoster 1.1 requirements. This option works with any SIS or rostering service (e.g. ClassLink) that can export CSV files. We recommend this option for organizations with SFTP capabilities and edit access to their SIS.
-
ClassLink API- Transfer data from your SIS to Remind via ClassLink. This option is only recommended for schools and districts already using ClassLink.
-
Clever sync– Transfer data from your SIS to Remind via Clever. This option is only for schools and districts already using Clever.
- Sync API Connection - Set up a direct connection between your SIS and Remind if available for your SIS. This option is only available for Aeries at the moment.
