Activating LMS integrations**

For administrators with LMS integrations, a premium feature through the Remind plan! To learn more, please contact your Remind account manager or Remind support.

Remind's LMS integrations are available for organizations that use Canvas or Schoology. In order for your teachers and staff members to have access to LMS integrations, you must enable the features from your administrator dashboard.

Setting up Canvas 

From your Remind administrator dashboard in Remind*:

  1. Click on the Settings tab.
  2. Select App integrations (from the list of options on the left side of the screen).
  3. Click Set up Canvas app to see detailed instructions for enabling the LMS integration.mceclip1.png
  4. Complete steps 1-4 listed on the Canvas Set Up page.
  5. Click Submit (located on the bottom right of the screen) to save your Canvas setup.

Setting up Schoology

From your Remind administrator dashboard in Remind*:

  1. Click on the Settings tab.
  2. Select App integrations (from the list of options on the left side of the screen).
  3. Click Set up Schoology app.mceclip2.png
  4. Click Enable Schoology.
  5. Click on the Save button located on the bottom right side of the screen. Enable_schoology.png
  6. Go back to App integrations and click Set up LTI. Set_up_LTI_Schoology.png
  7. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to complete the LTI setup.

Now that you've enabled Schoology for your organization, your teachers will need to complete the LTI configuration process in their own Remind account. Until they do, they will not be able to access the Remind composer from Schoology.

To make sure all the staff members in your organization set up their Schoology LMS integration, we recommend sending them a districtwide message on Remind with this helpful instruction for configuring their accounts for Schoology.

*Tip: If you can only use Google Chrome to access Canvas and Schoology, copy and paste the following links in to separate windows, and switch the Default setting for the SameSite cookies to Disabled: chrome://flags/#same-site-by-default-cookies and chrome://flags/#cookies-without-same-site-must-be-secure. Then log out and back in to your Remind account, and proceed with the steps above to configure your Canvas and/or Schoology account.
