Yes! Teachers internationally can create an account on the app to start sending messages, and students as well as parents worldwide can find the Remind app in their iTunes or Google Play store, or choose to receive messages by email. The Remind app is available in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese (Brazilian), Simplified Chinese, and English.
Remind messages can only be delivered to US, US territories (including Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands) as well as Canadian cell phone numbers. Please keep in mind that the ability to receive messages internationally, and any texting fees, are entirely dependent on the individual's phone carrier coverage.
Download the Remind app
If you are traveling abroad or your phone plan doesn't support receiving text messages internationally (US territories and other countries), we strongly recommend students and parents download the Remind app for notifications, or sign up to receive email alerts. It's fast and easy to receive messages via Push Notifications and keep all messages organized in the app.
Remind Hub is now available in Canada and the US. If your school or district administrator is interested in learning more about the features available with Remind Hub, they can see more details here.
