Find a person to message from a class

If the class owner allows messaging between class participants, you can search for a person and send them a message from within the class. If you have admin access to a school, you can also locate an individual by searching their name, phone number, or email address on the school’s People list.

Web

  1. Click on the class.
  2. Go to the People dashboard.
  3. Search for the person you wish to message, either by the search bar or the list below, and click on their name.
  4. Click the blue Message button. You’ll be directed to your conversation with that person, where you can compose and send your message. Screen_Shot_2022-12-20_at_4.53.19_PM.png

If the Message button is faded out Screen_Shot_2022-12-09_at_12.31.26_PM.png it means you cannot message that person either because the class owner or school admin does not allow participant messaging, or the person has opted out of messaging.
