How do I edit, duplicate, or delete an auto message?

For administrators with advanced messaging, a premium feature available with Remind Hub. Please contact your Remind account manager or Remind support to learn more. Before you can use this article, you must first set up auto messaging for your organization. 

On your auto messages dashboard, you can see a history of the custom messages you’ve created for your organization. Read this article to learn how to make changes to your auto messages.

Edit an auto message

  1. Log in to Remind on your desktop.
  2. Click Settings on your dashboard.
  3. Choose Auto Messaging.
  4. Select Auto messages.
  5. Click the 3 blue dots to the right of an auto message.
  6. Click Edit.
  7. Click on any of the sections on the left navigation, to change and update the information in your auto message.

Ex. You can click Export CSV file to go to the Set up CSV Exports section.                                  Select_Edit.pngEdit_AM.png

Duplicate an auto message

  1. Log in to Remind on your desktop.
  2. Click Settings on your dashboard.
  3. Choose Auto Messaging.
  4. Select Auto messages.
  5. Click the 3 blue dots to the right of an auto message.
  6. Click Duplicate.

A copy of your existing auto message will populate on your dashboard. For example, a duplicate of the auto message "Lunch Balance" will show as "Copy of Lunch Balance." You can edit the title at any time.

View sent messages

  1. Log in to Remind on your desktop.
  2. Click Settings on your dashboard.
  3. Choose Auto Messaging.
  4. Select Auto messages.
  5. Click the 3 blue dots to the right of an auto message.
  6. Click View sent messages.

To see additional details about messages you've sent, click View details to access the message summary. Learn more about your message summary here.

Delete an auto message

  1. Log in to Remind on your desktop.
  2. Click Settings on your dashboard.
  3. Choose Auto Messaging.
  4. Select Auto messages.
  5. Click the 3 blue dots to the right of an auto message.
  6. Click Delete.
  7. Select Delete on the pop-up box to confirm the action.

Edit an auto message

  1. Log in to Remind on your desktop.
  2. Click Settings on your dashboard.
  3. Choose Auto Messaging.
  4. Select Auto messages.
  5. Click the 3 blue dots to the right of an auto message.
  6. Click Edit.
  7. Click on any of the sections on the left navigation, to change and update the information in your auto message.

  5. Click the 3 blue dots to the right of an auto message.
  6. Click Duplicate.

  6. Click Delete.
