Remind Certified Teacher Pilot Program FAQ

We're currently piloting the Remind Certified Trainer program with a small group. We'll update this page with more information as it becomes available!

What is the Remind Certified Trainer program?

The Remind Certified Trainer (RCT) program certifies educators to train others on the basics and best practices of using Remind. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge and resources for effective professional training while providing opportunities for continued growth.

Who's eligible to become an RCT?

The RCT program is open to all educators, although it's probably best suited for technology/IT staff who have or want to gain experience training others. We're looking for individuals who know how to use Remind effectively, want to help others learn about Remind, and have an encouraging and patient approach to training others.

What does it cost to become an RCT?

There's no cost for those who participate in the pilot version of the RCT program. Eventually, we'll introduce pricing for individual certification or group training at the school or district level.

How do I become an RCT?

Currently, the certification process consists of an RCT application and product knowledge test. Prior to taking the test, you'll be provided with RCT resources for review. If you're interested in participating in the RCT pilot, send us an email at!

What's required to participate in the RCT program?
After you become an RCT, you'll need to lead at least two training sessions a year in order to maintain your active status. Your sessions will need to earn a “satisfactory” rating from participants—we'll provide a form you can use to capture their feedback.

What benefits and opportunities does the RCT program include?
Once you've been certified, you'll be awarded an RCT badge and featured in a public RCT directory for professional development and other leadership opportunities. You'll also have access to a network of other RCTs as well as the Remind School Success team to share best practices, knowledge, and resources.

What's the status of my RCT application?
You'll receive an email confirmation once you complete the RCT application and product knowledge test. You'll hear back about your status in about two weeks.
