How do I send one-way messages?

Teachers and administrators can choose whether they want to have 1 way or 2 way communication in Remind. Other class owners like parents or students can't change their message settings, two-way conversations is the only option.

You're account is set with two-way communications enabled but you can change this account level setting if needed.  Follow the steps below to for the specific device you're using to access your Remind account:

  1. Select the 3 vertical dots Screen_Shot_2018-09-05_at_12.04.15_PM.pngfrom the top right of your screen.
  2. Tap Account from the drop down menu
  3. Select the gear iconScreen_Shot_2018-09-05_at_12.08.00_PM.png from the top right of the screen.
  1. Tap the gear icon IMG_8408.JPG in the top left of the screen.
  2. Scroll down to see your message settings.
  1. Select your name in the upper left.
  2. Click Account from the drop down menu.
  3. Select the Communication tab from the menu on the left.

You might need to scroll down till you see Message Settings.  From there, simply uncheck the box that says Allow replies to your message for 1 way communications with Remind.
