Adding a new subject
Students with Remind Tutoring can receive tutoring in multiple subjects from the list of potential subjects.
Disclaimer: If your tutoring sessions are subsidized by a School, District, or Educational Organization, some schedule functionality may be disabled. If you do not have the following options, please reach out to the organization purchasing tutoring on your behalf.
How to add additional subjects
- If the student does not have any active tutoring plans:
From the Remind Tutoring Dashboard you can click on the "start tutoring again" button in order to select the student receiving tutoring, the subject, the time(s) of tutoring, and when you would like to begin tutoring.
If the student has previously worked with Remind Tutoring, you can also scroll to their name on the Tutor Dashboard, and click on "start new subject" in order to select the subject, the time(s) of tutoring, and when you would like to begin.
- If the student does have at least one active tutoring plan:
From the Remind Tutoring Dashboard, you will scroll to their name, and click on the "start new subject" button below their current plan. This will allow you to select the subject, the time(s) of tutoring, and when you would like to begin with the new subject.
Please note, adding a new subject will not cancel or update any existing tutoring plans. If you would like to change subjects, please follow the steps outlined in the How do I change my subject article.
